Lakshmis Art Workshop offers a variety of art programs for children of all ages through structured, skill based instructions. Enjoyable and very interesting to children, the art workshop combines subjects of interest to young children, techniques and art concepts they need to learn like drawing, color exploration, painting, art vocabulary and art history. Emphasis is on drawing and very free expression of ideas & forms by individual approaches through regular and specially designed courses. Each week we will build upon the prior week's studies. Starting with pencil and charcoal, students work their way up to mastering in drawing, painting and strengthening art skills. All the programs are offered on a year-round basis, allowing students to continue to work uninterrupted towards advanced levels of learning. Students are taught by experienced faculty, whose expertise comes from years of professional experience and academic learning.
Our aim is to encourage and build confidence, while seeking the intrinsic value of the art process and product. Depending on individual age and skill level, students learn to draw, compose a picture, paint and to create. Check the Gallery.
